Inference

Russell was hungry.

Russell's stomach made strange noises and he didn't know what was happening. Russell went to the toilet to see if that was the problem but his stomach still made strange noises. Then he walked to kitchen and got a drink to see if it would stop his stomach from making strange noises, he waited but then he heard it again. 'What could be wrong with mt stomach!' he screamed in his head. Russell sat down and started doing what he does best thinking about stuff. He sat there and sat there and then he found out what was wrong eh was HUNGRY so he ate some bacon.

Inference

Ryan felt sick.
"Oh no I have a head ache!" yelled Ryan, "it hurts!"
"Are you ok Ryan?" asked his mum.
"No I have a head ache and a tummy that hurts and sore throat!" cried Ryan with pain.
"Well go to bed and have rest and see if that will help you feel better, and take a bucket just in case," replied Ryan's mum.

1. Ryan was lonely.
Ryan looked around to find someone to play with but no one were to be seen. He looked to the ground and his eyes started to water. Ryan's smiley face started to sink as he screamed out "Why am I always alone!"

Daniel Tammet is a savant. He has a great memory and has memorized the first ten-thousand numbers of pi. Scientist wanted to study how Daniel's brain works. Daniel went to Iceland and then he learnt their language in two weeks. Daniel Tammet knows thirteen languages fluently. George Finn is also a savant. He is a calendar man if you give him the date you were born he will tell you what day you were born and what day your next birthday is and your age.

Who would win in a fight between Batman and Captain America

For:

• Captain America's shield is made of vibranium so Batman's gagets won't work.
• Batman has skills and backup e.g. Robin, Superman and all of the Justice League.
• Captain America has all of The Avengers to back him up.

Is gaming better than drawing

For:

• You get to sit on your bed when you game.
• You get to play online games and play with your friends.
• Gaming is very entertaining when drawing is not entertaining because you just sit there drawing lines.

Against:

• You can scratch the disc when you aree gaming.

For:

• It is entertaining and fun for fat lazy people.
• It's good for hand eye coordination.
• It might be good for your finger muscles.

Mandarin lesson

This week at school we are learning different languages. The year 8 students have been split into 2 groups to learn a different language. The languages are Mandarin and sign language I am learning Mandarin. I learnt the numbers 1 to 10 in Mandarin.
