Swimming Sports

On Friday 23 March Rimu House walked to Memorial Pools for swimming sports. There were lots of different races to take part in. The races I swam were the 25m Freestyle, the 25m Backstroke, and the 25m Doggie Paddle. They were not competitive races, they were just for fun. The highlight of the day for me was free swimming in the pool. I enjoyed hanging with Hugh and Ryan. After the free swimming, we walked back to school.

Homework

On Wednesday 6th March I made a three course meal for my family. Here is the menu and the feedback.

This is the menu.

Now for the feedback: I was looking forward to our meal after I had seen the menu.  You prepared all the vegetables and the chicken first so that it could be cooking in the oven, and the smell was delicious. I thought that the entree looked fresh the dessert was a family favourite. It was tricky to remove the large casserole from the oven but you did it without burning yourself! I thought that you presented your plates very nicely and the whole meal tasted really good. I am looking forward to seeing what you are going to serve next time.. Well done Cole!!
